North Eastern Spring Concert round-up

Members of the Youth Orchestra participated in an amazing performance of Jacques Offenbach's Orpheus In The Underworld Overture in Wellington Church, Ballymena on 10th May 2024. The audience were treated to some very accomplished playing and fantastic solos.

The audience in Wellington Presbyterian Church was treated to a thrilling concert from our Intermediate Youth Orchestra under the direction of Charlotte Gul Saturday 11th May 2024.

Congratulations to our up and coming musicians who displayed some fine string playing and well done to Charlotte on her inaugural concert as conductor.

The audience in The Courtyard Theatre, Ballyearl were treated to some wonderful playing from our Southern Area String Orchestra on Monday13th May 2024.

The orchestra played to a packed house and it was amazing to see such potential on stage. Congratulations to all who performed.

We are also very grateful to our partners, Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, whose support and assistance in facilitating this event.

On Tuesday 14th May our Western Area String Orchestra made an appearance at the Seamus Heaney HomePlace, Bellaghy.

The Western Area String Orchestra gave a fantastic performance with guests from The Rainey Endowed Grammar School mentoring our younger members. Congratulations to all performers under the direction of Sarah Bell.
