Guinness Blues on the Bay Festival

The festival attracts thousands of music loving locals and tourists with many coming from across the globe to visit the renowned festival. It hosts hundreds of breathtaking blues and jazz gigs, workshops and jamming sessions. The award-winning festival features amazing international blues musicians from across the globe. 

Since 2009 the Education Authority Music Service have been involved with this vibrant music festival. Our South Ulster Big Band and South Ulster Youth Band have taken to the stage, performing challenging repertoire to the huge crowds that attend every year. This is a unique experience for our students, giving them the exhilarating opportunity to perform in a vibrant music festival.
