CBSM Summer School

The CBSM returned to Fortwilliam for their summer course in July.

The City of Belfast School of Music were delighted to return to the Fortwilliam Centre for their Summer Course during the last week of July for the first time since 2019.
The week was full of fun music, games, TV cameras and incredible recitals, with students demonstrating their talents both on their orchestral instrument and on alternative instruments.

We were also treated to a fantastic Bassoon demonstration on Friday from Mr. Aidan Murphy, leaving some pupils keen to take up the Bassoon.

The week culminated in a Full Orchestra performance to a packed hall, featuring The Magic of Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Mission Impossible, Inception and an encore of the 'Can-Can' conducted by Viola student Lorcan McCusker.

The week was immensely enjoyable for our pupils (and staff!) and we cannot wait to get back to our Orchestras and Bands in September!

In 2023/24 we were involved with
