Youth Orchestra

The Youth Orchestra is the Flagship for the NE Region and is open to our more advanced pupils who have gained Grade 6 and above. The membership fee is £145.20 per annum (family discounts apply) and take place in the Antrim Centre on Saturdays from 10:00am – 12:15pm. They perform a varied repertoire ranging from classical to show and film music.

The Youth Orchestra perform two concerts per year – a Christmas concert in the Antrim Forum and a May Concert in Wellington Church Ballymena.

They have also toured in European cities such as Bruges, Stuttgart, Strasbourg  and Berlin in recent years. They also performed at The Belfast Carols in the SSE Arena in December 2019.

They are conducted by Clifford Lowry.
