The Strabane String Orchestra is open to all pupils who play orchestral string instruments in year 6 and above.
Membership is £48.40 per annum (family discounts apply) and weekly rehearsals take place after school on Tuesdays, 4.15pm-5.15pm..
Repertoire is varied and challenging and from many different styles and genres; from well-known baroque and classical masterpieces right through to popular music from the stage and screen.
The SSO perform in two concerts per year; one around Christmas and another at the end of the Spring term in the Alley Theatre.
