Available to all Brass and Percussion players who attend Enniskillen Royal Grammar School
Stephen Magee
The band was formed in 1990 by EA Music Service brass tutor Stephen Magee in Portora Royal School. As well as performing at many school events including concerts, assemblies and Carol services, the band has performed at community events in Enniskillen and throughout Northern Ireland.
They have also worked with some of the best Brass Band tutors in the UK, including Roger Webster, Steve Mead and David Thornton. In 2016 the band increased in size with the amalgamation of Portora and Enniskillen Collegiate.
This was the start of a very successful period for the newly named band (ERGS Brass Band). The band took part in the annual Brass Band League contests and were champions for 3 years in a row. The band is still under the tuition of Stephen Magee.
