The Central Area String Orchestra is open to all pupils who have achieved Grade 1 and above. the membership fee is £99 per annum (family discounts apply) and weekly rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 – 7:30pm.
This is generally a young musician’s first experience of playing in a larger ensemble and helps to forge friendships, confidence and progress.
CASO perform in the Antrim Forum Christmas Concerts and in a May concert in the Castle Gardens in Antrim.
The orchestra is conducted by Clare Mullan.
