The Central Area Concert Band is open to all pupils who have achieved Grade 1 and above. The membership fee is £99 per annum (family discounts apply) and weekly rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 – 7:30pm.
This can be a young musician’s first experience of playing in a larger ensemble and helps to forge friendships, confidence and progress.
CASO perform in the Christmas Antrim Forum concerts and at a May concert in the Castle Grounds, Antrim.
The conductor of this ensemble is Brona Conway.
